Hello, I want to do a game set in the 1600'Philippines using Pikeman's Lament. I discovered that the Spanish fought not only filipino warriors but Japanese. I know what the Japanese look like but not the filipino warriors. |

Ok, that was supposed to have been "zoom in as much as you like!" Old age sucks. Anyhow, reenactments of Magellan's death has become some of a tradition in Lapu Lapu City, so it may be worth checking out what their interpretations are like. |

Must say the Spaniards standing stage right in the third link seem to be sporting awfully modern-looking hair styles, but otherwise those dioramas are very well done indeed. I love this whole period. Makes me want to read up on the Spanish/Philippine conflict… |
