Just read and reviewed issues 3 and 18 of the excellent Tank Craft series, which both look at the Panther on the Western Front. Issue 3 addresses the Normandy '44 campaign, whilst issue 18 deals with the Defence of the West, in '45.

I like this series. Hard information AND nice pictures.

I prefer the fairly narrow focus as you can pick titles that are wholly relevant to an area of particular interest. A title I am unlikely to get is the Panzer IV which covers the whole war and quite possibly is spread too thin.
