AK Interactive is a manufacturer of accessories and paints for scale models mainly. Thanks to AK, we can now color miniatures, vehicles or scenery sets to achieve aging effects, rust, a metallic luster … The pencil line can be faded and reworked with a dry or wet brush. A pencil costs 1 € but they are also available by boxes at AK or other dealers like Great Escape Games.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check it oyt.

My gut says that switching back and forth between pencil and brush would not be fun. I have some experience in switching tools while working (and a few formal human factors engineering studies).

I also have other evidence that (my) dry rushing of such effects can be too imprecise, so this might be "extra effort for extra quality" .
