As part of my growing Romanian fleet I converted a fugas minesweeper to the Locotenent-Comandor Stihi. Easy enough that I could do it. Found here:

Enjoy

Nice!

And Romanians would be a rather different option.

So, what's different in your Tumultuous Seas variant?

Lion,
Crueler Seas are optional rules that primarily reflect my bias that small boats were not ground down by attrition but were taken out by one or more multiple critical hits. It also adds spotting and torpedo rules. It is still pretty beer and pretzel.
Tumultuous Seas will add more "realism" but be at the cost of detail. For example not all HMGs will be the same. Most russian HMG will do +1 point of damage. Some people call that "chrome" and like it, some people call that "mindless detail".
It will also add random events, air rules and restructuring of hit points. For example in Cruel Seas a Raum boat has 90 HP and the Fugas has 100 HPs. Good for beer and pretzel but I enjoy a little more chrome since the Fugas displacement is over twice a Raum boat.
Probably more than you wanted to know!

Cheers

Joe
