Help! What am I seeing? I see Spanish conquistadores in helmets draped with some strange plant life; Russian Napoleonic overcoats draped over their left shoulders and down over their hearts; and what look like individual arquebus powder and shot packets hanging down over kilts. Actually very good figures. I just do not know what they represent. As I get older, I know that I am losing it: Last night on TV, I saw a pair of leisure shoes in light green with gray striping. The commentator said they are pink and white! My wife saw pink and white! Am I dead yet? GdeP |

Help! What am I seeing? The texture and the proportions of the feather bonnets do lack something…. These are 93rd Highlanders from the Indian Mutiny, by the look of it. The 'morion effect' comes from quilted sunshades, fitted around the cap section of the bonnet. |
