That's the only way to explain the hyper sonic mega arrows Euron fires from the ships. Also why not simply flank the ships and burn them from behind. And why didn't Cersei just riddle her brother with arrows as soon as the mountain chopped of the head. Or better yet just open fire with her wall mounted railguns and kill everyone, including the dragon in seconds? |

So far, their strategy is much better than the Northern Alliance's. |

Terribly contrived episode to kill off two figures and make things "personal". I'm a little tired of Cersei's Hand who seems to be a master of everything. A man so skilled should be more like a Dr. Evil wanting to take over the world. And Dany, manages to conquer the Free Cities and take over all the Dothraki yet, can't seem to do much of anything right in Westeros. Well, she did knock the Night King off his dragon. Yep, array all your lead characters well within the massive range of the "railguns" and Cersei doesn't shoot them all down? That would have been and episode shocker. Then it's just a race to see who does what between Jamie, Arya, the Hound, Sansa, Bran and Gendry. |

Hollywood and TV are now only interested in "Moments", putting up scenes that look epic and dramatic and string them together with hostile character interaction. It's been going for years now, with shows like Galactica, Lost, Walking Dead, GoT, they all follow the same pattern. It's all about a permanently mutually hostile ensemble cast who if faced with the worst possible mortal peril will always pick gouging out somebody's eyes even if it means utter disaster. Narrative and story are dead, just actors playing overly dramatic and intense roles that are just the equivalent of Hrundi V Baskshi playing the bugle. |

Unfortunately with the rush to wrap things up for season 7 and 8, they have be doing some very obvious things to advance the plot or make things work. Like getting rid of two dragons, killing off the Dathraki and (most of) the Unsullen. To even things up for the final battle. Insane crossbows, etc. Otherwise Dany would be too powerful. Character plots starting and resolving in minutes not episodes. It is a shame really. BTW, I have a feeling Dany is just going to pack up and head home. |

I'm still enjoying and savoring every moment. I agree (I pray), though, that the hyper sonic mega arrows were enchanted or some such because the damage they caused to the ships seems physically impossible. Also, I would have killed Tyrion and Dany all in one go as they stood that way in front of King's Landing. |

> A man so skilled should be more like a Dr. Evil wanting to take over the world. Well, we don't know WHO will be sitting on the Iron Throne at the end. |
