Neat battle--asymmetric (as in, different technology) space battles are always interesting to me. The write-up sounds like you used some home-designed rules--any details? Any particular commercial set they are based upon? Rob |

@Katzbalger Hi Rob, Stars & Lasers is a set of rules I wrote a while back because of not finding the sort of game I wanted, they have been available now since 2017. This will give you an idea of what they are like - link I have some free stuff that you can download, scenarios and also another Alien race I did for the rules, the "Reformers" I am working on extras all the time, new weapons / ships / aliens etc. etc. lots of these are from ideas given to me from people that play using the rules. The rules are very simple but still give a great game, a little to cinematic for some maybe, but still great fun to play.
The basic rules are all you need but there are lots of extras if you want a more complex game. Mac |
