Well if the heading for item 2 (Egyptian hieroglyphics) is anything to go by then the standard of academic research will be very shallow.
There is no such a thing as Egyptian hieroglyphics. They are hieroglyphs. Hieroglyphic is an adjective, as in hieroglyphic writing. It's like calling purple flowers purples.
