Latest blog post covers some of the Progress on the What-if German 1943 invasion project focusing on some of the Vehicles of the 25th Panzer regiment. Hope it is of some interest. Interesting and well done – and I have to admit, for Scandinavia it would be a powerful force!

Let the Swedish forces destroy the iron mines and disable the harbors and the Germans will be making there tanks out of wood. There is a reason that Germany never attacked Sweden.

Thanks for your comments – I think it is an interesting mix of resources.

Not fully sure how we will play out the background to this, whether it will be a preventive attack or as a consequence of an allied attack in the North. This project at the moment is more about doing a few low level scenarios, based on the high level 1943 plan, more imaginations than historical analysis if that makes sense?
