My post took forever to load so I'm pretty sure the response above is an artifact of the bug….

Here's a preview shot:

I have just updated my blog with a selection of photos and a description of the Napoleonic collection of Mr. Richard J Tennant, for which I have been fortunate enough to be entrusted. This collection encompasses a British and French corp in the Peninsula around 1812 and contains over 2750 meticulously painted miniatures, mostly Hinton Hunt.

Pop on by and take a look at a real piece of hobby history.

The bug disrupted my first post so trying again…

A great collection. How did you acquire this?

Through a lot of angst and tears! I became aware of the proposed sale through a group of like minded hobbyists interested in old school Napoleonics. When it became clear the collection would likely be broken up, I did some soul searching and decided I could sell much of my own collection of half finished or unstarted projects to fund the purchase of Mr. Tennant's work, and thus keep the collection together. It was a process that took a couple of months, but very glad I did!
