The Preziosi Collection of Colonial Era OB's includes lists for French Campaigns in Morocco, Algeria, Senegal, and the Tunisia, 1861.

The complete lists, and much more appear on TVAG via this
link

Hopefully, you'll find all that you need here!

Coolyork, I highly recommend the Preziosi collection! His research is spot on and very detailed. He's actually a friend of mine and lived in Florida. He has gamed with our groups in the past. He's a great guy! And Patrick's customer service at TVAG is top shelf.

I've got NWF 1880's-1890,s and all sorts of WWI Africa OOB's. Now if I could only find the spiral notebook I put them in …… I lost tons of stuff in the move!
Cheers,
JB

I have a book from 1900; a handbook for officers where you have the OOB of the whole armed forces with places, commander names etc. it would be a lot of jobs to photo. Hardly on scan not to destroy it. From my great grand father.

Thanks guys ! SgtG thanks for the input as usual . Yes Patrick has great stuff and great service and I'll order some of his OB's for sure . Jcfrog, Cherish that family book that was passed down its part of your history .

I was surprise how few troops there were to hold the place and fight the slavers. Half of the whites on campaingn, each time died of illness.

I had these ob's years ago.I just ordered the Senegal Collection. Will order Dahomey and the Tonkin ones soon.Hell I'll probably get all of them over time including the British.I had the complete ob for the French,US and Belgian Armies in 1914 but don't remember where I got them. There were other ob's for other armies but I never got them.

Patrick and Jeff…Thank you BOTH for your very kind words and support!

Very much appreciated! grin

Marco56 – Nafziger's OB's ARE Great, but…they almost always lack much needed details; like formation staff above the regimental level and individual unit commanders, down to battery commanders. I've gone through tonnes of tomes, original documents and official correspondence to get this information, which, IMHO, is vital to making a complete collection of Order's of Battle.

Don't think I'm slighting yours.I just thought they might come in handy for someone.
