Anyone have any information on the long, long-awaited series based on Stanley Kubrick's script for his planned movie on Napoleon.
Back in 2013, Spielberg very publicly announced he would produce a mini-series based on Kubrick's abandoned film. In 2016 there were more stories about getting a director – but not much progress since then.
(In many ways this reminds me of the long rumoured 8th Airforce series that Spielberg and Tom Hanks were supposed to be producing on HBO to complete the Band of Brothers, Pacific Trilogy.) Any news on either series? |

The Cortez and pirate concepts sound interesting but the others, not so much. "…Collide" and "WWS" are on my list of "Classics which should never be remade." |
