I just reviewed Tony Harwood's new book on buildings for the Napoleonic era, over at my blog. He covers 15mm (one example), 20mm (ditto), and 25/28mm (seven examples!). Sadly there's nothing in either 10mm or 6mm, my two favoured scales for the era at present.
My review of Harwood's book is here:

Anyhoo, the book inspired me to make a start on building some, um… buildings. I have crazy plans to refight the Battle of Smolensk, which might involve building an entire little city (I'm clearly insane). I have about 30 commercially available building models, from several brands. But I want most of my buildings to be scratch-builds of my own making.
My latest blog post on this build is here:

I'm really chuffed with my first attempt at making a building. It's not 100% finished yet. But it's most of the way there. I'd be pleased to get feedback from you guys, both here on TMP and over at my blog.
Cheers, Seb
