I am in St.Louis, Missouri USA. I ordered 9 packs of Foundry Marlborough figs on March 11, 2019. I received the normal acknowledgement immediately and then on March 18, I received another email about the shipping of my order. I received the order today, April 25. The Customs Declaration on the box noted 4/3/19 as the sender's date with signature. Therefore I received the order in a little over 6 weeks from placement. This is pretty good compared to what I have seen on TMP previously this year. A friend who lives also in St.Louis told me it took him 10 weeks to receive an order he placed during Foundry's Christmas sale. I will be ordering again. (One figure has a messed up head, so it fouls up my plans. Oh, well. Stuff happens. |

That's a bizarre length of time to get stuff from Foundry to the U.S. I live in Tucson, and always got my stuff in less than 3 weeks. As far as a messed up head, take a pic and emailed them. They have always been very good on any replacements or missing items. P. |

This is far better than Black Tree Design has been doing … |

I got an armored Foundry Viking once who had a shoe on one foot, and the other foot was bare. I asked here about any Viking legends with a character wearing only one shoe, like Jason from Greek myth, and nobody knew anything, I wrote to Foundry and asked them, but they didn't know. All they could suggest was that they may have received several masters damaged in shipment, tried to repair them, and inadvertently attached the wrong leg to our man. So, he is the infamous Viking Thorkell One-Shoe. I'm guessing the head damage is such that this approach may not be viable for you, though. Grelber P.S. It's been a while since I ordered from Foundry, but it seems my last order did take longer than I was used to. As for BTD, my Black Friday order came earlier this month. It may have taken a while, but they didn't forget me. |

I placed an order for some miniatures with Wargames Foundry on 2/17/19 and got an email on 3/6/19 that they were on their way. I still haven't received them. This month I placed an order with The Assault Group and received my miniatures 3 weeks later.I don't plan on ordering from Wargames Foundry again. I'll purchase what I need from other companies. I'm also located in Missouri. |

Re. the one-shoe Viking. There are other examples of early Medieval folk only wearing one shoe so it doesn't seem unreasonable for at least one Viking to have done so. |

Hmmm…could it be Shoeless Jan Jaharkansson? |

It's weird that in this day and age we're grateful for a six week turnaround. Something's not right here. |

Foundry has always been its own worst enemy. So if you received an email on March 18 saying your order had been shipped, and the Custom's Declaration wasn't executed until April 3, what happened in that two week interval? Some companies send out emails stating "Your order is on its way" when it's entered into their system, not when it's actually mailed. To me, that's just wrong. |

My last order took 5 weeks, but that was 2018. I will email them about the bad figure. They have been great in the past about problems, though I have had few problems through the years. One thing I must have failed to note is that I needed to order ramrods and buckets for my Marlborough artillerymen. I will have to take care of it everything with the next order. Thanks for letting me know your experiences. |

At Flodden, some of the English were told to wear only one shoe to help them gain purchase on the slippery ground. |
