Fogou Models has launched a Kiki campaign to fund a post apocalyptic fort in 28mm named Fort Hardknox. The elements of this fort are also available separately as well as scenery accessories.

I've got to say, that is a really cool fort. Of course, it's definitely, totally, unmistakably post-apocalyptic, a period I don't do. Still, I was sucked in to the concept enough that I spent a minute or so trying to figure out if it could somehow be adapted for use with Viking, ancient Greeks, colonials, or WWII.

Odd subject for a Kickstarter, since it seems it can be easily built from scratch.

Fougou makes some splendid dark age buildings that certainly cannot be recreated from scratch. Quality is very high on these.

As I do not game PA, I wish them luck with this campaign…

It doesn't look limited to post-apocalyptic settings. I think it would be fine, as is or with a few additions, in many science fiction settings, from Traveller to 40K.

Glad you like it too my friend!. (smile)

I am really loving this campaign and backed at the top pledge level.

I've brought all of Fogou's back-catalogue of matching shacks, barricades and bits. They are brilliant. The resin compound is excellent and solid feeling, details are crisp, and there are no mould marks. Since things like roofs, aircon, and porches are separate, you can have multiples of the same buildings and still have each one clearly unique (not just a paint-job) via mix-and-match. Based on these, I am really looking forward to this KickStarter delivering.

In terms of these being PA, that is very true. Depending on your game they could be used on a modern, near future or sci-fi table. I also think they could be used for a Warhammer Ork's nest – and certainly would be a good basis for further customisation.

And yes, I could make them myself, but why bother if someone will do it for me. Plus the resin used has a much better play-survivability then anything I am likely to make myself.

Happy for you my friend!. (smile)

Two stretch goals. Should go well with any gasoline wars you may be thinking of having.

If anyone backs with a £140.00 GBP or more (Fort Hardknox level) before this weekend, then they will get an additional free shack from the Fogou range.

Well both of the two stretchgoals I posted have been unlocked, and another three as well.
