My most recently finished unit of old Seleucid Cataphracts from Newline and one of my 'updating' projects. When I first got back into painting 1/72 I made use of block painting, brown wash and done. However they were dark and dull, so now I generally paint with brighter colours, brown wash then highlight (usually in the original colour). The other aspect of updating old projects is mounting singly based troops onto unit bases. showparade.blogspot.com/2019/04/clad-in-gold-and-silver.html

Those are great! I must get me some of those to go with my Newline Seleucid Hetairoi. |

Cheers Jon! Please do, you will make a very nice job of them and may encourage Sean to expand the Hellenistic range. |
