Great job. They are very realistic. One even starts feeling cold as you view the miniatures.

Bruuur. They look cold.

In some of the later photos you have even achieved a foggy/air-frost effect. I almost expected to see clouds of breath vapour from the horse and the more active figures.

Some kind of light diffuser? Oblique lighting into the lens? How's that done?

Great looking figures.

I do like that snow effect and this one is my favorite of the lot:

Thanks veyr much for the kind comments, got these on table on Thursday so after action report to foloow. In terms of the lighting I literally use a set of drawers under the dining room winder with the sunlight streaming straight in, catching a tiny bit in the corner of the camera as I take a shot creates this lovely effect. So bizarrely its bright sunny days that give us the freezing fog!

The 14th picture of the series captures this effect superbly.

It is just what we try to avoid in photography. Hence the various lens hoods we can buy. We do not want the sun shining into the lens edge. It is the lens flare so characteristic, indeed iconic,in "Easy Rider". Would have horrified earlier directors.

Here it works brilliantly. Inspired!

Thank you very much guys, really appreciate it. Last game write up to follow, no freezing fog though I am afraid.
