I've made some significant progress on the Arnhem bridge and city model. Still a long way to go but the main elements of the layout have been created. Lots more pictures and details at allhellletloose.co.uk

That is the way to do 6mm. When you are dealing with 6mm or 2mm, it is all about the terrain. |

Where do you put the paratroopers? |

Fantastic! What rules are you planning on? |

I really dig the city-like feel and the buildings. But I'm totally puzzled why go through the trouble with hexes and then more or less cover and obscure them? |

Aeth the figures will be based on stands. They sit nicely on top of the buildings. Scipio I'll be using a set of rules currently being developed called All Hell Let Loose. We'll be using this board to fine tune the close combat and assault rules. Stands represent a platoon and are based on 32 by 25 mm stands. Lonkka, yeah I know right? I go into why on the blog. Basically I don't have much storage space! I'm thinking of hollowing out the covering so the building sit inside it at the same level as the ground. We'll see about that. |

I suspected as much. Not sure the method compliments the tabletop. All that realism defeated by roof crawling. It's one reason I don't like dense forests or grain fields. Figs sit way too high. Great board but hard to play on. |
