I like them. Strelets have come along tremendously in their sculpting, and are emerging as the pre-eminent 1/72 sculpts of today, now that Zvezda have retreated. And good choice of subject. My guess is that you would be hard pressed to find winter kitted grenadiers in other scales. |

An observation I often find myself making. Why is it only French troops that get offered in campaign dress. From what I can tell, most (if not all) other nations get offered only in full dress (well, maybe Russians get made in greatcoats). I don't think I have seen Austrians, or Prussians, in greatcoats, or campaign trousers, or forage hats etc. Did only the French fight in bad weather? Or were other nations just better supplied, and had thermal undergarments? |

Out of curiosity why aren't the officers in greatcoats? |

Marc, see Three Armies British in overcoats…OK metal and 28mm. But they do exist in plastic too, esp for War of 1812 |

Zvezda didn't just retreat. I for one would LOVE to know the actual status said by a controlling person of that company as to what is going on. Zvezda has the finest sculpts in all of 1/72 hands-down. |
