Aotrs Shipyards is a webstore on Shapeways.com, a 3D print house which had production and shipping facilities located in the USA and the Netherlands. Aotrs Shipyards also takes direct printing commissions.

So, the first big announcement is that finally, I have a Facebook page for the Aotrs Shipyards here.

Having a social media presence was something I have been avoiding for quite a while, simply because I knew it would come with a lot of extra faff (and indeed it has), but the requirement for having a sensible way for people to contact outside of Shapeway's PMs and to have somewhere to put the catalogue meant I finally had to swallow my Luddite tendencies.

So you can now get hold of me by PM or by (hopefully!) using the "Send Email" located to the right and under the page's main cover image.

In order to be able to have the catalogue available, I found the only option was to create a public group (Aotrs Shipyards Task Force here)…

…which then enables members to download the catalogue. (It is still very much an ongoing process, but for the moderns at least, I've more done than not at this point.)

Releases will also be made on that page in addition to the usual places.

With that out of the way, this month's release is the PT-76 and PT-76B at 144th.

PT-76

Aotrs Shipyards direct price: £4.10 GBP

PT-76B

Aotrs Shipyards direct price: £4.20 GBP

As per usual, photos are of the Replicator 2 (direct print) versions.

I have no immediate plans for next month, so it might be some of the backlog (I'm doing some starships at the moment), while I continue to get the catalogue sorted out.

We will be at Partizan on the 19th May as per usual.

I aim to try and get some of the Galactic Terrorists out soon – one major hold-up has been that the infantry are not hugely-cost effective at Shapeways. And while the i.materialise store (which is better for those, at least) is nominally ready to go, the new minimum £25.00 GBP order means there's no point starting that up until I have more than one or two things in there (and as I have to get stuff printed myself…)
