Very interesting scenario and like the smaller miniature unit usage. Very similar to the FRW/Napoleonic era games in the Wargamerabbit warren. Haven't been a big fan (painting wise) for the currently "in vogue" rules featuring large units of miniatures blog. link

WRabbit very true that smaller units enable one to paint a greater variety of interesting uniforms! Taking the opportunity to say I have been hugely inspired by eg the marvelous Napoleon in Egypt scenarios one your blog. Especially like the way you interpret and paint the irregular Ottoman side units. Led to me collecting lots of 15mm figs for this campaign!
