just 4 mentions of Salute. How things have changed! (It's next Saturday by the way) |

There were some stories previously, but yes, in former years it seemed like every advertiser would make its own announcement about going to Salute. Hard to know if this is any reflection on Salute itself, or just a change in how companies promote themselves. |

That's about what Cold Wars got. I suspect the number of TMP members within a day's travel of the two shows would be similar. For me, the discounts and new offerings I can't get to Salute to take advantage of exactly equal the discounts and new offerings available to me from the vendors at Cold Wars--"nothing neither way." |

Maybe we will see more about Salute after the show? |

And it's late Saturday evening and no mention of Salute. For what it's worth, I thought it was quieter than recent years but a much better range of eye candy and traders. One was left with the impression that miniatures gaming is a white, male, Anglo-saxon interest. Salute is by far the biggest UK event and takes place in arguably the most diverse city on the planet. More females than previously (still less than 1%?) but I didn't notice a single attendee from an "ethnic minority". Just an observation. |

There were quite a few from Europe, judging by the French and Dutch I heard being spoken. Maybe taking advantage before Brexit happens. |
