Does anyone make 15mm US Infantry suitable for 1960ish Europe |

You can just use any Vietnam era figs. |

Well I thought about that but most Vietnam figs are dressed for hot weather (sleeves rolled up etc) and I'm really looking for more "cooler weather" for want of a better way to explain. Of course if no such figures are available the Vietnam ones will have to do |

Main difference was the helmet cover. Brown in Europe for many months but they also used Green side. Use the Vietnam, they can work. You might mix in some Korean War like 19th Century/ battlehonors sales. We used the same steel pot and web gear in the 1970s that my father used in the 1950s and 19760s. The main change was the type of rifle and soft cap hat. In the 1960s the Castro cap was popular until about 1968-9. |

I'd think the biggest difference would have been the M14 versus M16. Flashpoint USMC might address that issue. |

Yea, IIRC, Flashpoint figs are your best option, unless someone else has come out with new figs since I last checked. |

Well, other than the wrong uniforms, the flak vests, the frequency of sleeveless/shirtless figs and sometimes wrong rifles, Vietnam figs are perfect. The US soldier of the Cold War in the OG107 uniform is the most typical US soldier post WWII, serving from the 1950s to the 1980s, and nobody really offers them in 15mm. |

The first thing I was issued in 1981 when I arrived at VII Corps HQ was a Vietnam era style Flak vest. If combat occurred in the 1960s, I would expect flak vests to be issued. Battle dress, jungle fatigues maybe. Yep I did say there was a change in rifles. I used the M14 between 1972 and 1975. |
