Dear all, Since sometimes it looks like I only post to request help, let's share a bit. Lately I have been more and more attracted to infinity, and surprisingly it looks like the modelling aspect of this game is low compared to others. So I am attaching pics of some Infinity inspired remotes that I hope to use in the game in the near future. The first remote is too big, with a silhouette 6. I will try to improve in the future.

As an Infinity player and fan, they both look great. However … bigger pics are needed! (and a parts breakdown!!!) |

The links will take you the Flickr page, with the images in 1008x756. I can upload high-res pics if necessary, of course. The parts breakdown… that is problematic. I usually don't stop to take pics while I am working. But For the big one, I can tell you: a) body is the head cap of a toothbrush b) optical lenses in the nose are taken from a broken Blu-Ray reader c) legs main bodies are taken from two GW Tau XV8 Crisis Battlesuits d) legs secondary bodies are scratchbuilt with PS rod and coffee spoons (also PS) for the additional armor. e) radiator grills: XV8 f) antennae: the same g) smoke grenade launcher: half arm of XV8; grenades are PS rod h) green left intake is PS rod i) tribarrel gun: PS rod for barrels, mid section and XV8 bits for the rest j) back end: again, some XV8 bits and PS rod For the other a) body: a LEGO Bionicle part (no idea of the number). Bionicle looks like a great source of inspiration for remotes bodies b) antennae: two Necron swords in half, attachs with PS rod c) wings: two AH-64 Apache tail rotor blades d) machine gun: GW 40K bit e) sensor module: 40K helmet f) side vents and jet exhausts: 40K jet pack g) all in white, more PS rod, different shapes and sizes |

Very nice, I scratch build all my infinity remotes myself (and half my TAGs)
Don't forget to show us painted pics. Robert |

OMG … You both have a good eye for Infinity! (I wanted to say something else, but it would have been dirty!) |
