Agreed with what Covert Walrus said. If you want to fly that close to the solar wind, they may as well have called it an "icarus" cruiser. |

If I remember how Eldar ships worked in Battlefleet Gothic, their speed varied depending on their heading from the nearest star. They were at their fastest when the aft was starward, average mid speed when the star was broadside. And slowest when heading directly towards the star. At the best angle Eldar ships could easily outrun anything, and being most vulnerable when heading in system. Although approaching at an angle would mitigate this problem somewhat. |
