Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I have found a great storage and transport for 15mm miniatures. I have been able to acquire some Craftsman plastic tool boxes with 3 steel pull-out drawers and a open bin on top. If you glue your bases to magnetic strips they will stick to the steel drawers and not slide around, and I have so far been able to get about 48 infantry battalions and 6-8 cavalry regiments (12-18 figures per battalion infantry 12-16 figures per regiment cavalry) with command bases and attached artillery and I still have room. Plus nice heavy duty handles and the open bin is great for misc figures, tools, and other kit you may need or want. They retail about $49.99 USD US and you may get them on sales for around $39.99 USD. I know that Sears has gone toes up but you still get them at Lowes and some hardware stores as well as on-line. |
