While attending Adepticon over the weekend (and having a great time) I have to admit I was a bit smitten with the models from DUST 1947. While the temptation was there to drop bank on a box or two, I held back wondering if it was something people actually played, or is it one of those games that the publishers just keep cranking out stuff for that just gathers dust on modeller's shelves?

I use the tank models for other games--while I have the box set, I've never actually played using the rules.

I used to play Dust Tactics but couldn't be bothered to pick up the new rules and yet another set of new cards for the latest version of the rules.

I was intending to use the models for Konflikt '47 but am now wondering about having a clearout and selling the whole lot off…

I use a lot of the vehicles, walkers and some aircraft in other games. I don't use any of the Infantry because they are larger than 28mm.

I play it occasionally. The models look cool and the game play is easy.

I picked up a more than modest amount when it hit the local scene, but it died almost before I could get stuff out of the packaging. I wound up selling it all off this past fall for WAY less than I paid for it.

Seems to have a following here in Louisville, KY and Ohio. Also there were quite a few games at Adepticon.. so… yes.

I bought into the DUST some years ago with the 2nd edition rules. Loved the miniatures but not the rules. Then in February of this year I sat in with some friends on a demo of the newer incarnation of the rules. Loved them! Clean, fast and brutal! Everything is vulnerable. Since February I.ve probably played in some 15 games. So yes we play now.
I highly recommend them and do pick up the free army app which makes force building a joy.

I don't use any of the Infantry because they are larger than 28mm.

The infantry are 1/48, which makes them about 36mm tall.

I do like the vehicles and some of the infantry.

I use the vehicles and combat mecha with the NUTS! War Without End rules.

I never played it, have some of the tanks and several people at our club play it.

I got into it big time when it was Dust Tactics/Dust Warfare, but ended up selling all my rules and minis because it never gained traction in the gaming groups in my area.

No…. alas. And I have two large armies that I should sell off 8-(
