Hello all, I have completed my first set of 2.5D dungeon walls. I started with a small (pun intended) batch and built 200 inches of wall! The walls were made with pink insulation foam, cut to quarter inch tall by half an inch wide. It was hot glued to chipboard, and the brick pattern was carved in by pen. They were painted black followed by two drybrush shades of grey. The last step was a black wash and we are complete. Enjoy
The key to this project was finding suitable doors. These are the ones available from Ral Partha Europe under their Blight haven line. Thanks to those who posted their projects before to discover these model doors. link The nice thing is, this all fits in a nice small container.
Thank you |

DM Scotty is the original inspiration. The base is inspired by Black Magic Craft dungeon tiles. YouTube link |

Very nice. Very nice, indeed. Thanks for sharing. Thanks, also, for crediting your inspiration sources. I'm a big fan of DM Scotty, Vee Muse, DMGInfo, Black Magic Craft, and Wyloch, of course. Each of them have YouTube channels, so feel free to look them up, if desired. If interested, DM Scotty has a FaceBook page. Otherwise, he has a Proboards forum, which is rich in terrain information, and inspiration (tons of photo's, and video links); the forum displays numerous different approaches to varied techniques, and styles, not just 2.5D terrain. Cheers! |

Fat Dragon Games (paper terrain, and a leader in creating STL files for 3D printing miniatures, and terrain, at home) uses a Proboards forum, as well. FDG's forum is not as active as it once was, due to his creating his own web site, with his own forum. There are likely other companies using Proboards forums, as well: they're free to use (ad banners…). Cheers! |
