More from the Chain of Command campaign set around Konigsberg in 1945. The Germans continue their push to escape encirclement while I ponder my decision to select a SMG platoon to try to stop them. To be honest I'm enjoying the challenge it presents, despite their small squad size and limited range, in the right situation they have a lot of hitting power. I've tried my best to create the Metgethen map and was quite pleased with the way the table turned out (despite the fact it has a decidedly French feel and looks nothing like East Prussia in January…..). Another cracking game, the full AAR is here Westwind Scenario 3 Gardening in Metgethen
