So at the battle Tizca on Prospero the Thousand Sons order of battle included the following human regiments as well as some Mechanicum units: Northern Palatine Guard, Prosperine Spireguard, 15th Prosperine Assault Infantry and the Prospero Assault Pioneers. I was wondering if anyone ever made any Spireguard for the Thousand Sons and what miniatures did you use? I was thinking about using the Tannenburg Fusilers with a red and yellow themed uniform: victoriaminiatures.com |

I did. I used the sci-fi greatcoat figures produced by Wargames Factory and put Perry Napolenic French heads on them. They look okay, they are a little bigger than I would like next to the 30K marines though. I haven't done a ton of them, only a squad so far. I'd like to do more eventually, as they were a pretty important part of the early part of the Battle of Tizca. They are in my storage unit with the rest of my Prospero stuff right now but I probably have pictures of them somewhere. I did them about two years ago. |

I guess it was in Fall 2016 I did these. Thinking about it I did them while waiting for BoP to come out. |

That's one good thing about GW having so much fluff, they have a hard time keeping up with the figures. Good to see you thought outside the GW square on these. They look good. Any comparison photos against GW figs? |
