I'm a newbie when it comes to Seven Years War, and I wonder if the current range of 3mm 7YW figures on PicoArmor link is complete enough to build a pair of generic armies (Austrian and Prussian)? I will be using Might and Reason. |

IMHO, the answer is yes. You have all the basic troop types and at this scale you can really get a mass battle look. Just curious, what size bases will you use? |

I'm still debating between 40mm and 60mm BW. The smaller size will allow for more units on my table (6x4 ft) and I already have a measuring stick marked at 40mm intervals for Lasalle, but 60mm will certainly make a better looking unit. The current range only had 3lb guns, so for the bigger guns (7 and 12 lbs) will the ones in the Napoleonic range be ok? I assume the guns didn't change that much in the 50 years time between the two periods? |

I recommend that you go with 40mm BW. That is, in effect, 4/5ths scale. If you look at the scenarios, most require at least a five foot wide table, so your four foot wide table will work at 4/5ths scale. Good luck. |
