I need to purchase some individual 28mm NCO figures both British and Rebels(Ungrateful rebellious colonists)to use with Sharp Practice. Don't need the whole Command Packs with drummers and standard bearers. So looking for sergeant figures with sash and an epaulet on right shoulder. Does anyone make individual AWI NCO figures? |

Whose figures are you currently using? Perry? I've done a few extra Perry NCOs by adding a sash with green stuff to an ordinary hatman. This leaves them with muskets rather than halberds but I don't have problem with this for SP. You don't, according to the 1768 warrant, need epaulettes: Serjeants' Coats. The coats of the Serjeants to be lappelled to the waist, with the colour of the facing of the regiment. The button-holes of the coat to be of white braid. Those on the waistcoats to be plain. The Serjeants of grenadiers to have fuzils, pouches, and caps. Those of the battalion to have halberts, and no pouches. Serjeants' Sashes. The sashes to be of crimson worsted, with a stripe of the colour of the facing of the regiment, and worn round the waist. Those of the regiments which are faced with red, to have a stripe of white. |

"So looking for sergeant figures with sash and an epaulet on right shoulder." They would not wear a sash and epaulet. Only the sash. epaulet would be worn by the corporal. |

Almost all are Old Glory, but the Perry's will fit with them Ok. Also have some Wargames Factory plastic militia types. Not sure how you designate NCOs with them, especially those in Hunting shirts. Worse case I can put them on a different shaped stands I suppose. |

For Officers and NCOs in Militia units, I tend to have one figure pointing or waving with a musket in one hand while the rank and file are advancing or firing with their muskets in both hands, this is pretty easy to organise with plastic figures where there are usually a few spare hands/arms about. |
