Fading in that region – the Byzantine Empire survived elsewhere for approximately another 8 centuries… Rather sweeping statements in that headline and article that might confuse someone with a minimal knowledge of history. |

I am sure there is much to be learned from the orignal archeological and historical work on this site, but this pompous article just makes me go away… |
