Anyone have a suggestion for a mfg that makes one of these? I can't find one. Plenty of medieval carts and hay wagons out there, but I'm looking for a covered wagon that he or his lady might ride/sleep in. I've seen quite a few in medieval paintings that have elaborate designs or heraldric devices on them. I'd like to paint a couple up for baggage/camp scenes. Scale is 28mm. Thanks |

I converted one from a 1st Corps Wagon. I left it pretty plain.

That's a great looking model, but alas, too modern looking. Thank you though! |

Rampantlion, What medieval setting are you looking at, early, high or late. although I don't think that there is much out there? It's probably too early, but you could take a dekko at the Warlord Roman coach? link or perhaps you could cannabalise the Redoubt renaissance wagon, the chassis looks good link There's a 3D model here link |

Huscarle, I actually think that the roman coach would work well. Especially if I put some heraldry here and there on it. Thanks so much! |

I'm also going to get one of the Old Glory (Blue Moon) "Shepherd's wagon". I think with different horses it could work too. |

To get the right look, I think the wheels need to be equal sized and pretty large. The horses seem to have been in tandem rather than paired. For 15mm, I had to scratch build one to get the right look. A 28mm one shouldn't be much more difficult as long as you can source 4 equal sized wheels. |

Thanks Swampster. What projects have you been working on? |

"What projects have you been working on?" Very little recently. Last summer was Italian Wars Spanish*. Most recently did some Tuaregs and a few Murabits which I hope to get to army size. *Including some Italian style penitenti wearing pointed hoods, converted from monks. |
