VSF holds a certain bizarre fascination

VSF is not a era. It is a genre.

Victorian is an era.

Mike Target25 Mar 2019 5:00 a.m. PST

Clearly, as it is specifically Victorian, VSF is both a Genre and an Era…or a Genera.

ECW and Imperial Rome, for me.

Apparently only about 20 people in the world game the ECW.

FatherOfAllLogic25 Mar 2019 6:34 a.m. PST

I gamed ECW about 40 years ago with 15mm Minifigs. Still got 'em.

I actually own four ECW miniatures, 25mmm Hinchcliffes from the 1970s, two Roundhead officers and two Cavalier officers. All are armed with swords. One Roundhead represented my character in a D&D game a very long time ago. I've never actually played any kind of game set in the ECW.

Or, the actual result of the poll. The top 5 responses comprise only 20% of the responses at roughly 4% votes each. So, the respondents are indicating that they are pretty much gaming what they want in a broadbrush kind of way.

Northwest Frontier/Afghanistan for me. I have some models for it, but probably not enough.
