Nice work by the videographer but imo 300 yards while doable is out of its practicable range.

Not what the gun was meant for but, this proves that if you are good shot, you can hit something at 300 yards with an M1 carbine.

Yea, I suspect 200 yds. is about the limit for more realistic chances to hit.

My dad was issued M1 Carbine (known as US karabin in Norway) during his mandetory year in the military.
He got silver badge accuracy at 200 yards with it.
It's apparently very accurate at that distance. He did score hits at 300, but not enough for a badge.
