… Rifle That Never Was. "The Cold War gave rise to a host of exotic weapons never fired, but none were quite as strange–and potentially revolutionary—as Heckler & Koch's G11. Affectionately referred to as "Kraut Space Magic" in reference to its over-engineered-yet-brilliant West German design, the G11 does look like it belongs in the hands of some space trooper rather than a typical infantryman. But the true "magic" of the G11 is much more than meets the eye, because inside that boxy frame was a gun unlike any ever made…." link Main page link

The G-11. What happens when a Swiss Watch and an HK rifle are left unsupervised… YouTube link |

I did and do like the G-11. I think the concept of caseless ammo would be the way to go. As long as the tech is perfected to 99.9%. One of the biggest "upsets" to any trooper firing an Auto or Semi-Automatic individual weapon is the jamming. I'd think the caseless ammo might make that less of an occurrence. And I like Sci-fi so I find the looks of the G-11 pleasing. As it not only looks futuristic. But has the look of an efficient and effective "tool" … IMO tools/devises should be useful … not pretty !

It's only useful-looking until you look at the internals, L4… Then you will probably drop an F-bomb. Watch that Forgotten Weapons youtube vid I posted! |

Yeah, it's a little scary looking at the internals. Looks like a Swiss Watch got lost at the HK factory! |

This is all very unnecessary. StarGate command has had access to Zat guns for over 2 decades now. |
