I love it! It reminds me of some of the uests on Henry Hyde's podcast lately doing similar stuff in other periods: link This is brilliant and I will certainly be following this with interest. |

That looks magnificent. I am very interested in how this plays as well as the rules as I'm looking to do an Vicksburg Campaign game as well. Please keep me in mind as you proceed. Mike |

how this plays as well as the rules The campaign rules are pretty easy (as the AoF rules too). I play just the Gettysburg Campaign and does a step-by-step tutorial in our german forum, to explain the rules. The first tabletop battle was still played with selfmade counters, but in meantime i got my 2mm miniatures, so next/upcoming battle will fight with miniatures :) link And for the reports i did a small map editor with VASSAL, as you can see here link
If my english would be not so bad, i could translate the Gettysburg-Tutorial and offer it here also.

Finally finished also additional/extra "campaign" marker/bases to use for the Vicksburg and Gettysburg campaign board/mat. As distinct from the "battle" units for the scenarios, i used here only marching/column figures and did a little bit more diorama-bases.
