GW have released pics of their new Terminators:

And new power armour CSMs.

Here are the same painted as Night Lords, Word Bearers and Alpha Legion

Apparently the new power armour guys will have the capacity to swap out parts with the MKIII and MKIV figures to give you an even greater variety of armour and poses.

I haven't bought any 40K Chaos stuff (except the new Noise Marine) in a while, but I'll probably be getting these along with Shadowspear.

Don't care for the tusky Termies, but I like the PA CSMs.

Eye of Horus on the dude with plasma pistol and axe is a nice touch.

Bought my copy of 'Shadowspear' last weekend. A good value for what you get in the box (35 models).

BTW the new "vanilla" Power Armored CSM's are about as big as Primaris Space Marines and would dwarf your old ones in another classic case of "bigger is better" scale creep:

Don't look at the horns on the marine at the far left. Look at the top of the head/helmet and the backpack vents compared to the new model in the middle.

I have those models from Blackstone Fortress. They have been doing this for a while, the Death Guard aren't much smaller than Primaris marines and the first to get the boost were the new Thousand sons who are only slightly smaller.

I don't mind a little variability and if it makes my CSM taller than the guard they sometimes fight, I welcome it.

They look very cool as Alpha Legion. It's too bad they won't fit in size wise with my old school Alphas.

You'll just have to sell off your boring old CSM's and buy these "latest-and-greatest" ones with so much more detail and variety.

Ha! No one would want my minis. Trust me!

Pictors Studio19 Mar 2019 4:30 p.m. PST

These kind of make me want to do a small force of Alpha Legion, like a Kill Team worth or two. They would work well for some scenarios where you have other forces fighting and then one player could put some AL out there to accomplish some other goal. Plus I have a bunch of cultists they would work well with.

My big question is do I buy these and convert them to World Eaters or do I hedge my bets and wait to see if WE come out this year (I know….good luck on that.).

I would counsel patience. Good things come to those who wait.

Let's hope so, but I've been waiting for plastic Steel Legion and Mordians for a LONG time ;-)

Here is a picture of the Terminators decked out for different legions. I have to admit that the Night Lords one looks pretty sweet. Might be just the thing for my NL army.
