I stand in need of a dozen Dwarves in plate to complete my Dragon Rampant forces. (OK, two dozen if the price isn't outrageous.) Can anyone recommend something vaguely 15th or 16th Century, and NOT "chaos/evil dwarf" with spikes all over? Thanks.

Mantic's Ironclad or IronGuard? It's a bit hard to see if they have plate armour behind the shields and beards, but see for yourself here: link

GW's Grim-Hammers from the Middle-Earth line, if your other Dwarves are slimmer.

I use ME dwarves for WHFB, as I like the aesthetic better, and they fit well with my Perry/Warlord Empire Army.

The Assault Group manufactures a range of dwarves in early 16th century style. These are more stoutly (heroically) proportioned than their historical humans, and come in a variety of styles from militia with little armour to fully armoured knights. May of the figures come with separate heads and/or weapons, thus requiring some assembly. Pricing for the infantry is £10.00 GBP for 4 figures.

I would go with Mantic's Dwarves as noted above.

Wasn't "Dwarves in Plate Armour" one of the lesser known Moody Blues songs?

Oh. Back on point. Check out Old Glory Ghost miniatures.
