Published 2006 at £25.00 GBP, so far from cheap by prices even then (my copy). You have to be interested in medical services, basically, to appreciate this. I only did 6 months of emergency medicine in central London in 1977 and (this will make our US cousins laugh) I did not see one gunshot wound…not one single one…in six months of working a one in two rota. Indeed hardly a single stabbing incident….in one of the largest casualty depts in London…happy days. My Comments? Wellington's Doctors, obviously very similar but "Guthrie's War" was my favourite on med services.

Everything I did last night was duplicated (I do stress that I am only talking about what I put into this forum) Twins run in our family. Our two sons were born on St Patrick's Day 24 years ago, so a big weekend for us (grin)
