Were there any differences in uniforms between the 1st vs 2nd battalion of the 8th Herzog Pius regt? Any help appreciated as I am unable to find any. Thanks all.

No difference other than plumes/tufts. 1st battalion grenadier company full red plumes schutzen company full green plumes 1st fusilier company white tuft 2nd fusilier company white over yellow tuft 3rd fusilier company green tuft 4th fusilier company green over yellow tuft 2nd battali0n grenadier company full plumes scarlet over white schutzen company green over white plumes 5th fusilier company scarlet tuft 6th fusilier company scarlet over yellow tuft 7th fusilier company blue tuft 8th fusilier company blue over yellow tuft

for the blue go with the colour of the plate at the top, the collar designs for NCOs are in wrong in case I remember correctly, it was for officers as shown on the lower plate,
