It is the foundational principle of Ogre, can't really fathom why folks find it a problem in that game. |

Yep. The Ogre rolls through, nuking, blasting and crushing the opposition, then rolls on out. No problem! |

I remember an old SPI board game which riffed on the Ogre calling it a Continental Siege Machine… Pretty much does what it says on the box. A single military unit used for laying siege to continents. |

Kieth Laumer had Continental Siege Units in his Bolo Dinochrome Brigades long before Ogres. Fun stories along with his Retief stuff until the Retief stories got recycled with the same plotline but a different story name too too many times. |

I loved Gamma World. As a player, I was a super unstoppable death machine, eviscerating all would dare to come into my field of vision, leaving the smouldering, unrecognizable remains of enemies in my wake and forging onward and onward relentlessly. Until somebody took me out. |

FGU created a role playing game called "Space Opera". One of the miniatures released by T-Rex for the game was the Continental Siege Unit. link |
