We played a trial game of R@P last night – the new skirmish game from Osprey using the Lion Rampant game engine. Of course we screwed up a number of items, but overall had a good game.

Lack of a QRS was a pain so I made up my own. Here is a pic:

Email me at mark@scalecreep.com and I'll send anyone who wants it the PDF which also includes this roster:

The roster would be adjusted to each player's actual forces using a "blank."

I've probably got an error somewhere, or perhaps there is something I should add, further play should reveal all.

On the second chart, is the range and hit value switched?

How did they play? From your QRS looks solid.

Yup, will have to fix that!

Played okay. It's a super simple system, so fun as far as it goes. We only had one captain per side, you really need one per player otherwise too many missed activations makes it feel a bit too random.

I'm also adding, for multi-player games, a new "Double Time" which lets you move double speed but more vulnerable to fire (one hit = 1 kill, so DON'T do it in LOS of the enemy!!).
