My series of posts about ancient Cartagena ends with a look at the revealed section of the Punic wall together with the Via Augusta, the main road laid through the city during its redevelopment in the first century AD.

Thank you for your detailed posts Johnathan, very nice. Shame though that the pictures resolution are so low but we get the point still. I have an ancient coin from Carthago Nova. Best I've ever seen. I found it after 5-6 years of searching. There are pics of it on my website. The helmet on the reverse is the best detail I've ever come across. Regards, Mike |
