Im thinking of starting a F&F campaign and wondered if anyone had a system for movement casualty recover etc. Would be interested to see what's out there.
Thanks guy.

Better the Clash of arms various systems, more focused, reachable numbers, part of the terrain is already known; then cyberboard/ vassal the maps from mmp other detailed series as they have 1 mile to the hex or something like it, to get a better vision.
As random generated terrain ends up messy when you go back roughly to the same place.

If you can find wargame maps with half-mile hexes [or simply use existing maps as such regardless of scale] you can have a mini-campaign for battles such as 2nd Manassas. Simply position armies where they were a couple of days before the battle and with hidden movement of some sort, quickly develop interesting battles. With 1/2 mile hexes, a tabletop game with F&F on a 4X6 table would be a 2X4 hex area for the battle…with any nearby troops coming on during it. Lots of rules will accommodate that kind of thing. Usually one battle situations occur [naturally]

If you are interested, I can send them to you.

There was a very nice little Shenandoah Valley campaign using F&F in Battlefields magazine – I guess about 20 years ago. Played it and it worked really well, with Jackson running rings round the Union commanders, but always only one defeat away from disaster.
