38% said "the first day of the Battle of the Somme"
19% (tie) said "Gallipoli" or "Hood's attack at Franklin"
8% said "3rd day of Gettysburg"

The first day of the Somme? No it is the last day of the Somme. Why did it take till November to call it off?

I would rate Franklin worst than the third day of Gettysburg. Lee actually thought it would work. I am convinced Hood knew his attack would fail. He said that it was necessary to discipline the army.
