After what seems like an eternity, I have finally finished an old school interpretation of a battalion of Fusilier-Chasseurs of the Middle Guard. They are Der Kriegspieler figures from the 70s. Enjoy! Lots of pictures on my blog: miniatureminions.blogspot.com |

Great job! Thank you for sharing. I have a question, what is the "N" flag? I have been seeing more depictions of French colors (banners?) which are not the familiar tricolor? Is this a battalion color? I really like the idea as I think that you cannot have enough flags on a table. Best regards, John |

John, I had the very same question when I first started looking at doing this regiment. In the Imperial Guard only the 1st battalion of the Grenadiers and Chasseurs a Pied carried the eagle, the rest carried a "N" flag, blue or Red depending on the unit. |

Pure coincidence, but I was just as puzzled by an N flag, just the same. This topic; TMP link led us to several images but one, sure enough there it is, last of the series, rear battalion auction |
