When one is creating 'built up areas' the obvious always springs to mind – a shop, an inn, a house, a church, etc. But, sooner or later the list runs out and you end up making more of the same…… More here: link

Hi Jim, As you might know, all of my 'town sections' have attached spaces for placing troops; usually each section has a one unit capacity; it makes town fighting a much easier affair to game. Some of the larger ones (like churches) are 'two sections', split either front and back or this side that side. The thing about this section is that it didn't require me to build a building, it can sit alone 'Boot Hill' fashion, or as part of a larger church complex – representing an Abbey complex, say. Here are my churches: For Italian Wars and Peninsular (I need a second church for these theatres, a simple chapel).
My SYW churches. One that looks a bit like the one at Kreczor (Kolin) – one of my oldest surviving buildings, I made it 20 years ago.
and this one with a more Bohemian feel, which I made last year. Note the 'section dividing' tomb, which shows how the player has chosen to orientate the two sections this piece represents.
