I just ot some Future floor wax and made myself some Magic Wash – 50/50 water + Future. I put the mixture in a small plastic bottle for storage, about 5 oz. How much dish soap should I add? A drop? Several drops? A good squirt? Scientific accuracy is a must! ;) |

… with Holzgas generator with Anhänger 11 ton. – case report "Let's know a robust tractor was fought on all fronts of WWII, pulling loads and weapons for the Germans. This powerful vehicle continued in production after the end of the war, supplying the civilian market in the reconstruction of Europe and for the French Army. Gentlemen, with you the Hanomag SS100 4x2 heavy road tractor, deservedly denominated Gigant…."

One drop is more than enough. |

I don't think Tango01 answered your question. |

I don't use any detergent. Just paint and Future. I've been using the same batch for about a decade and just keep adding future and paint as needed. I even stopped mixing in water a couple years back. |

One drop works for me. Also use Speedball brand acrylic inks added to the mixture for various color washes. Super Black and Burnt Umber the most useful. Others prefer to dispense some of the basic water/Future mix and then mix in the inks, whatever works for you. Also, due to minerals in out water, I use distilled water for the mix. |

If you are starting with Future (or the equivalent floor finish (not wax))See: The Complete Future: link There is no need to add any additional flow agent (ie surfactant) which should never be "soap" but a detergent based product (such as "Dawn" or "Jet Dry") see terms like "wet-water". The Johnson Floor Finish formally known as "Future" has a great flow-agent built right in. So, no need to add more. |

I agree with DyeHard. I use a drop of Jet Dry with my medium and ink washes, to be a surfactant. But if you use Future, you don't really need it. But 1 drop of Jet Dry won't hurt anything. |
